Job Description:

Snowball is hiring a Producer–Editor for FinMC, a new channel making finance and trading content engaging, clear, and accessible for everyday investors. This is an exciting chance to collaborate directly with some of the top editors, traders, and industry experts in financial publishing to bring FinMC’s strategy to life on YouTube. The storytelling for FinMC’s formats will strongly rely on how narratives come together in the edit. As a Producer-Editor, you’ll own both sides: capturing footage and crafting it into sharp, engaging YouTube videos.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the production process from shooting to editing for YouTube-first formats
  • Shape raw footage into compelling stories that make finance concepts approachable
  • Collaborate with scriptwriters and traders to ensure narrative accuracy and clarity
  • Use graphics, pacing, and storytelling techniques to maximize viewer retention
  • Maintain brand consistency across all video content
  • Stay current with YouTube editing and packaging trends, particularly in finance edutainment

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in finance, investing, and trading
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in video production and editing (YouTube strongly preferred)
  • Ability to both shoot and edit content independently (camera/lighting + Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Proven track record of making technical subjects visually engaging and entertaining
  • Strong project management skills to oversee end-to-end production workflows

Nice to have:

Motion graphics, sound design, and color grading experience are a plus
