The role holder is responsible for supporting and implementing the sourcing and category management initiatives in the region, internal stakeholder engagement, and supporting the regional relationships / engagements with suppliers. This role has significant direct impact on the financial performance of the business unit. The role reports to the Director of Procurement responsible for IT, Energy, Returnable Packaging and will collaborate closely with regional operations, procurement, and other functional teams.
Job Responsibility:
Own the regional implementation of key strategic category initiatives
Support plants on P2P process including purchase orders, scheduling agreements, good receipts, invoices, and reconciliations
Generate and provide returnable packaging inventory reporting to Customers. Negotiate and facilitate chargebacks where necessary
Ensure and maintain supply chain monitoring to continuously secure supply at the right cost
Support inventory management software roll-out
Timely implementation of pricing adjustments in conjunction with suppliers
Support the regional relationships with IT, Energy, and Returnable Packaging suppliers
Continuously monitor and challenge the suppliers on Total Cost of Ownership opportunities and value delivery
Escalate, address, and close NOCs (Notice of Compliant) with supply partners on a timely basis
Ensure proper business partnering with other relevant functions such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Procurement, & plant team members
Master change management for the business unit through concise execution and communication
Ensure relevant and effective value engineering tracking measures are in place

Lead by example in deploying the global/regional collaboration matrix
Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and encourage close liaison between regional procurement heads and category leads to improve the overall performance of the team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in procurement, category management, supply chain, or related business experience
Experienced in ideation and delivery of procurement initiatives addressing technical, financial and sustainability advancements
Track record of delivering value from strategic frameworks through internal and external partners
Strong leadership skills with matrix management experience
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team in a multicultural organization
SAP & Advanced Excel proficiency
Effective communication and influencing skills, ability to convince and persuade others
Align on targets and translate these into SMART KPI’s
Solid financial market and business acumen
High resilience and ability to prioritize in a constraint environment with regards to demands and workload
Nice to have:
Inventory (Returnable Packaging) Tracking and RFID experience preferred
Ability to work with complex data and calculate ending inventory balances by location
