Job Description

Personify Health runs on hundreds of vendor relationships — and the contracts behind them either protect us or expose us. As Procurement Specialist, you're the person who makes sure every deal we sign is sound, strategic, and on terms that serve our business. You own the process from first redline to final signature, and you keep the renewal pipeline from turning into a fire drill.

Job Responsibility

  • Negotiate and close vendor contracts: Draft, redline, and execute agreements across a diverse third-party portfolio — assessing risk, identifying deviations from standards, and bringing in Legal, Compliance, or Data Security when the stakes require it
  • Own each contract review end-to-end: Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating across business partners and internal teams to keep deals on timeline and on terms that hold up
  • Translate contracts into plain language: Prepare clear interpretations of contractual terms for internal stakeholders and run vendor and partner meetings to resolve issues before they stall a deal
  • Run sourcing events: Coordinate and execute RFPs and RFQs — from requirements definition through vendor selection, award, and administration
  • Manage the renewal pipeline: Track expiration dates, flag what needs action, and ensure nothing lapses, auto-renews badly, or gets renegotiated under pressure
  • Shape procurement policy: Contribute to developing and refining procurement procedures, and communicate changes clearly to stakeholders at every level of the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation, evaluation, drafting, redlining, and administration
  • Progressive procurement experience in contracts management, purchasing, and/or strategic sourcing
  • Indirect procurement specialization, with a focus on IT software negotiations and purchases
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, and spend category analytics
  • Proficiency in electronic procurement platforms and related analytical software
  • Expertise in MS Suite, including spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
