Reporting to the Procurement Lead. This critical role is focused on ensuring the client's Procurement Policy governs how goods and services are bought, observes regulatory and internal governance, and supports business teams in achieving the best financial outcomes. You will be instrumental in simplifying processes to allow internal business teams to focus on their core objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Provide sourcing support for all divisions, including Operations and Member support
Conduct expenditure analysis of indirect spending to drive process improvement
Review and enhance category planning and category management
Manage contracts, working closely with Legal experts to ensure commercial arrangements are agreed, met, adhered to, and properly captured
Manage vendor relationships, including SLA compliance, measurement, and adherence to Regulatory certifications, ESG, and social procurement considerations
Support invoicing and payments, liaising with Finance experts to ensure contractual arrangements and vendor/payment terms are accurately reflected and adhered to
Support workflow for procurement tools to ensure seamless delivery of outcomes for Business Teams
Requirements:
Significant experience as a Procurement Specialist with a proven track record of delivering on Governance requirements
Strong knowledge of Sourcing and category management, particularly for indirect services, across multiple verticals
Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities for commercial savings and process improvement
Experienced in sourcing project management
Expertise in Contract and Vendor management
A solid understanding of procurement governance, including Policy and Procedures
