This long-term contract position involves managing procurement processes from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and compliance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate procurement and construction-related purchasing, along with strong analytical skills to support decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including planning, market research, and vendor selection
Collaborate with departments to define scopes of work and align procurement strategies with organizational goals
Manage procurement activities specifically related to construction projects and administrative support services
Utilize tools such as DocuSign, PeopleSoft, and Bonfire for contract management and procurement workflows
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential vendors and negotiate favorable contracts
Develop and implement procurement policies to ensure compliance and streamline operations
Provide support in creating and managing purchase orders and related documentation
Analyze procurement data using Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions, to identify trends and improve processes
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes
Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate procurement and contract management
Familiarity with procurement processes in construction and administrative support services
Proficiency in tools such as DocuSign, PeopleSoft, and Bonfire
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP functions
Strong negotiation skills to establish favorable contract terms
Ability to conduct comprehensive market research and vendor analysis
Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaboration across departments
