We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support sourcing and procurement activities for manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project management. This role is responsible for executing procurement strategies, issuing purchase orders, coordinating supplier quotations, and supporting day-to-day purchasing operations while ensuring compliance with company policies. Job Responsibility
Support sourcing and procurement activities for manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project teams.
Execute Category Management strategies in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Create and issue purchase orders based on business and production requirements.
Manage local procurement activities for goods and services not covered under existing supplier agreements.
Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and coordinate competitive bidding processes.
Evaluate supplier quotations based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and procurement documentation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
Support procurement initiatives that contribute to cost savings, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
Assist with procurement activities related to the organization's SAP S/4HANA transition.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or production environment.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general business systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process knowledge.
Advanced procurement certification such as CPM or equivalent.
Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
