We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Strongsville, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing products, identifying suppliers, and ensuring procurement processes align with organizational needs.
Job Responsibility:
Research and identify suppliers capable of meeting procurement needs
Participate in the sourcing and acquisition of products to meet organizational goals
Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure accurate fulfillment
Utilize Excel for tracking and analyzing procurement data to support decision-making
Maintain detailed records of supplier interactions and procurement activities
Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to negotiate contracts and terms
Adapt to a fast-paced environment while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of procurement tasks
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Provide recommendations to improve sourcing strategies and supplier relationships
Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate procurement or sourcing roles
Strong knowledge of buying processes and contract negotiations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication abilities to interact with suppliers and stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Nice to have:
