Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing activities, negotiate supplier agreements, and ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to meet operational needs while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Job Responsibility:

Execute procurement activities from requisition to purchase order, ensuring compliance with company policies
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions
Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships
Collaborate with internal departments to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies with business goals
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and assess trends affecting supply availability and pricing
Manage procurement documentation, supplier databases, and contract records
Track and report key procurement metrics, providing insights for process improvements
Support risk management activities by identifying and mitigating supply chain risks
Ensure all procurement activities meet legal, ethical, and sustainability standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a procurement specialist, buyer, or similar role
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills
Knowledge of procurement best practices, market analysis, and cost reduction strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP or procurement software
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Fluency in English
Swedish language skills are an advantage

Nice to have:

Experience working with international suppliers and cross-border transactions
Familiarity with sustainable sourcing and supplier compliance programs
Professional certifications such as CIPS or equivalent
