Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join a growing organization in Vineland, NJ. This company operates in the infrastructure and technology space, supporting large-scale, high-impact projects. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term potential within a fast-paced and evolving environment. The role will be fully on-site (5 days/week) during the training period, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including requisitions, purchase orders, and order tracking
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Partner with internal teams to forecast and support purchasing needs
  • Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP systems
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely fulfillment of materials and services
  • Review invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal accounting teams
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments is a plus
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
