Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist/Analyst to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing procurement activities, analyzing spending patterns, and optimizing vendor relationships within a dynamic financial services environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with procurement tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication and performance monitoring
  • Conduct supplier rationalization to streamline vendor portfolios and enhance service quality
  • Review and reference invoices using Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to work with pre-existing pivot tables and generate insightful reports
  • Prepare and deliver presentations using PowerPoint to communicate procurement strategies and results
  • Execute purchase orders and manage buying processes to support corporate procurement initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate vendor-managed inventory programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles
  • Strong understanding of corporate procurement functions and buying processes
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with pivot tables
  • Familiarity with Workday ERP for invoice referencing and procurement tasks
  • Skilled in creating and delivering presentations using PowerPoint
  • Experience in vendor management and supplier rationalization
  • Excellent negotiation skills for contract discussions with vendors
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
