The organization is planning to bring on a Procurement Project Manager to support multiple procurement process improvement initiatives within the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE). The role will operate in a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager capacity, partnering closely with procurement leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, drive process improvements, and support system-enabled changes within the COUPA Source-to-Pay platform.
Job Responsibility:
Lead multiple procurement process improvement initiatives, managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
Work with functional managers across Category Management, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable (AP)
Identify opportunities for operational improvement across procurement workflows
Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements across the end-to-end Source-to-Pay lifecycle
Facilitate workshops to document current-state and future-state procurement processes
Translate business requirements into system-ready requirements supporting COUPA configuration and enhancements
Partner with IT and system administrators on changes across COUPA modules including sourcing/RFx, supplier onboarding and supplier information management, contract lifecycle management, supplier risk evaluation and due diligence, requisitioning, ordering and approval workflows, invoicing and payment processes, and supplier performance monitoring
Maintain project governance artifacts such as project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and status reporting
Support testing coordination, issue resolution, and readiness activities
Assist with change enablement including communications, training coordination, and rollout support
Lead and coordinate one to two supporting business analysts executing the workstream deliverables
Requirements:
Five or more years of experience in procurement-focused business analysis, project management, or process improvement
Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and Source-to-Pay processes
Experience working with procurement technologies, with COUPA strongly preferred
Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and translate business needs into actionable requirements
Strong communication skills with both operational practitioners and leadership stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience with the COUPA Source-to-Pay suite
Experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms
Background supporting procurement transformation or digital enablement initiatives
Experience in supplier risk management or compliance-driven procurement environments
Prior work within a Procurement Center of Excellence or shared services model
MBA or degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or a related field
