Job Description:

The organization is planning to bring on a Procurement Project Manager to support multiple procurement process improvement initiatives within the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE). The role will operate in a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager capacity, partnering closely with procurement leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, drive process improvements, and support system-enabled changes within the COUPA Source-to-Pay platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead multiple procurement process improvement initiatives, managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Work with functional managers across Category Management, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement across procurement workflows
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements across the end-to-end Source-to-Pay lifecycle
  • Facilitate workshops to document current-state and future-state procurement processes
  • Translate business requirements into system-ready requirements supporting COUPA configuration and enhancements
  • Partner with IT and system administrators on changes across COUPA modules including sourcing/RFx, supplier onboarding and supplier information management, contract lifecycle management, supplier risk evaluation and due diligence, requisitioning, ordering and approval workflows, invoicing and payment processes, and supplier performance monitoring
  • Maintain project governance artifacts such as project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and status reporting
  • Support testing coordination, issue resolution, and readiness activities
  • Assist with change enablement including communications, training coordination, and rollout support
  • Lead and coordinate one to two supporting business analysts executing the workstream deliverables

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of experience in procurement-focused business analysis, project management, or process improvement
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and Source-to-Pay processes
  • Experience working with procurement technologies, with COUPA strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and translate business needs into actionable requirements
  • Strong communication skills with both operational practitioners and leadership stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience with the COUPA Source-to-Pay suite
  • Experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms
  • Background supporting procurement transformation or digital enablement initiatives
  • Experience in supplier risk management or compliance-driven procurement environments
  • Prior work within a Procurement Center of Excellence or shared services model
  • MBA or degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or a related field
