Job Description:

Procurement Project Manager - Product Launch Projects & Supplier Readiness. You will be an integrated part of bringing the world’s most innovative hearing solutions to life. You will ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and supplier readiness from early development to commercial launch. You will join our Global Procurement organization anchored within Global Supply Chain at Demant. A role with visibility and impact across multiple functions and product lines. You will play a key role in ensuring that our product launches are fully enabled by a resilient, reliant, and strategically aligned supply base. As responsible for supplier readiness and procurement strategy execution in new product launches you will partner with R&D, Strategic Procurement, Project Purchasing, Planning Department and Program Management to ensure seamless supply chain launches. You will also serve as the procurement liaison in both the product programs and R&D initiatives, facilitating efficient, timely, and budget-conscious launches. As part of the job, you will travel to global sites and suppliers and must expect 5–15 days per year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Represent Procurement in product development projects and commercial programs
  • Ensure supplier readiness to meet cost, quality, capability, and delivery targets at launch
  • Manage procurement project plans, risk management, milestones, and decision-making
  • Secure alignment with Strategic Procurement on technology roadmaps and category strategies
  • Coordinate with Project Purchasing to ensure component availability and maturity at each phase gate
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution with internal stakeholders and suppliers to mitigate project risk
  • Promote early supplier involvement and robust collaboration with R&D
  • Support cost-out and value engineering activities during development
  • Ensure cross-functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a critical link between R&D, Program Management, Strategic Procurement, Project Purchasing & Operations, and Quality
  • Cultivating valuable partnerships and enhancing effective decision processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement project management, NPI, or sourcing - preferably in medical devices, electronics, or other regulated industries
  • Batchelor’s or master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Industrial Management or similar
  • Experience in collaborating in cross-functional and international environments
  • Solid understanding of supplier qualification, sourcing strategies, and risk management
  • Proficient stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good English skills
