Job Description:

Expression of Interest – APS Procurement Roles. We are seeking skilled and motivated procurement professionals to join our team in the Australian Public Service (APS). These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality procurement solutions across various government departments.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, and supplier negotiations
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with government objectives
Provide advice on procurement policies, procedures, and legislation
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
Monitor and ensure compliance with procurement policies and contract management standards
Manage the procurement lifecycle from planning through to delivery and evaluation

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of procurement practices, policies, and legislation
Experience in contract management, supplier negotiations, and market analysis
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency with procurement systems and tools
A solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Australian Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance

Nice to have:

Past experience in Procurement
Certificate IV in Procurement or similar
