Job Description

A key member of the Global Procurement team, the Procurement Operations Associate is responsible for the onboarding of suppliers and active management of the supplier database across the labels globally. Additionally, the Procurement Operations Associate will assist in local agreements, purchase orders and other operations tasks.

Job Responsibility

  • Onboard new suppliers and customers onto T2’s P2P platform – JD Edwards
  • Train business stakeholders on the supplier onboarding process, use of the form / onboarding portal, etc.
  • Maintain the current supplier database, making updates and removing outdated information as required
  • Help build the strategy, communications plan, obtain stakeholder alignment, and execute the centralization of supplier onboarding across all T2 regions
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve the current supplier/customer onboarding process including technology, along with integration into the larger P2P process
  • Review assigned purchase requisitions and contracts to ensure appropriate purchasing method/structure, authorization, and policy compliance
  • Create purchase orders in compliance with contract terms and manage the purchase order through its lifecycle
  • Be accountable for researching and resolving Receiving and Accounts Payable issues for assigned purchase order and departments
  • Provide assistance, guidance, and training to stakeholders throughout the business on procurement related topics
  • Build strong relationships with our global partners and suppliers to foster collaboration, and open communication
  • Support process improvement and change initiatives across the procurement to pay cycle including adoption of the ServiceNow Source-to-Pay orchestration tool – Procurement Center

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or relevant field of study is preferred
  • 1-3 years of buying, supply chain, procurement, or other related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a high volume of requests and providing related administrative support within a large organization
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills across global contexts
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Experience with JD Edwards, ServiceNow and other P2P platforms
