Job Description:

This Malaysian-based company specializes in manufacturing, marketing, and distributing snack foods, beverages, and other products, exporting to around 100 countries. The Procurement Operational Manager will manage material availability to ensure smooth production, lead a team, optimize stock levels, collaborate with vendors and stakeholders, and support new product launches. The role also involves driving process improvements, analyzing data for decision-making, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure timely, accurate, and quality-compliant material availability for smooth production
Review material movement trends, forecast accuracy, and optimize stock levels
Lead improvement plans for timely delivery and quality compliance
Work with project teams to facilitate material readiness for product launches
Develop efficient workflows, analyze data, and ensure policy compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance current practices
Proactively engage with internal and external teams to drive productivity
Provide guidance and training to enhance procurement skills within the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, economics, business administration, or related field
3-5 years in a managerial procurement/supply chain role, preferably in FMCG (food manufacturing)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Confident, proactive, and able to engage with senior stakeholders
Strong experience in FMCG supply chain management and operational expertise is a plus.
