As a Procurement Officer, you will deliver medium to high‑value and complex procurement activity across the organisation, managing the end‑to‑end process to ensure compliance, value for money and alignment with strategic priorities. Working closely with commissioners and key stakeholders, you will advise on routes to market, develop tender documentation, evaluate bids and support robust contract arrangements that deliver financial, service and social value outcomes. Requirements
Experience delivering public sector procurement activity
solid understanding of procurement regulations, contract law and best practice
well‑organised and analytical
confident working with a wide range of stakeholders
able to explain complex requirements clearly and pragmatically
working towards, or already hold, a relevant professional qualification such as CIPS Level 4 (or equivalent experience)
motivated by using procurement as a strategic tool to achieve value, compliance and positive outcomes
