Join our team and make a real impact as a Procurement Officer on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the latest legislation and adopting best practices in procurement to achieve excellence in every project we undertake. You will be part of the Corporate Procurement Team, which Bracknell Forest Council has significantly invested in to enhance our processes and support the delivery of best‑practice procurement strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting cross-functional teams to develop new contracts, delivering clear service improvements and real cash savings
Advising commissioners on procurement and contract management issues
Delivery of Above Threshold and strategic procurements
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and contract standing orders
Promoting self-service procurement through training, coaching, and use of e-procurement
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification
Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to delivering excellence
Advanced understanding and experience in utilising e-tendering systems
