Procurement Officer

• Work with business areas to identify procurement needs, and encourage early engagement, alongside decision makers to ensure procurements are effective, promote proper use of resources, and deliver value for money
• Create, update and maintain procurement records in TechOne and BuyICT
• Create, update and maintain AusTender approaches to market, panel arrangements and reporting obligations
• Build documentation for internal use that is simple, easy to maintain and consistent with better practices
• Work with stakeholders to ensure that contracts are properly managed, reported internally and externally
• Provide contract management and contract relationship support both internally to the client and suppliers
• Implement, promote and apply the client Vision, Mission and Commitments as expressed in Strategy 2025–2030 and Our Values
• Promote and apply the APS and client values and contemporary people management principles and practices in diversity, workplace health and safety and participative management

• Must be an Australian citizen
• Must always hold and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
• Experience with TechOne, AusTender and BuyICT
• Training in Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act compliance

Completion of or progression towards Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Procurement and Contracting
