This role supports Aurecon by efficiently managing IT purchase orders and general procurement requests to ensure the timely delivery of technology, services, and materials needed across the business. The role streamlines sourcing, validates requirements, coordinates with suppliers, and ensures compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and financial controls. By maintaining accurate documentation and facilitating cost-effective purchasing, the Procurement Officer enables operational efficiency, supports risk management, and helps teams access the tools they need to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily procurement operations across IT, Contingent Workforce (CW), and Mobile, including urgent requests, PO creation/changes, receipting, and stakeholder communication
Track and report procurement volumes, monitor open tasks, and ensure timely issuance and closure of POs and tickets
Oversee end‑to‑end Mobile procurement processes, including staff exits, plan reviews, and user follow‑ups
Perform regular CW activities such as bot receipting runs, manual receipt uploads, and PO clean‑ups
Execute monthly compliance tasks including peer audits, ageing PO review, Asia procurement clean‑ups, and alignment checks across reports
Manage stakeholder and supplier engagement through scheduled meetings (e.g., Dell, Cisco Capital) and handle ad hoc requests from leadership
Requirements:
With over 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management
Skilled in processing purchase orders, contract coordination, and supplier engagement
Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and purchasing controls
strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request
Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills
