Job Description

Our client is a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing company operating in industrial production with a strong focus on electronics and plastic components. The company serves both local and international markets, where operational continuity, supply chain resilience and cost competitiveness are critical success factors

Job Responsibility

  • Manage all purchasing activities including electronic components, plastic raw materials, auxiliary materials and technical products
  • Lead and develop a purchasing team
  • Manage a global supplier base across Europe, Americas and Far East, including onboarding new suppliers
  • Develop alternative sourcing strategies for critical materials and manage supply risks
  • Respond quickly to production needs in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Negotiate prices, contracts and commercial conditions with suppliers
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of critical components
  • Work in close coordination with production, planning, quality and finance teams
  • Analyze purchasing data via ERP systems and report insights to senior management
  • Drive cost reduction, efficiency and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields
  • Minimum 8-10 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Strong background in electronic components, plastic raw materials or industrial purchasing
  • Experience working with global suppliers and developing alternative sourcing
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Analytical mindset
