The Procurement Lead will lead the company’s buying and procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing of goods and services.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes for relevant company purchasing needs
Develop and maintain procurement plans aligned with business goals
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance
Streamline supplier base and services to reduce duplication, optimise performance, and simplify management
Identify and implement procurement efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and value-for-money initiatives
Conduct supplier spend analysis and market bench marking to inform commercial decisions
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports in line with audit and compliance standards
Develop procurement policies in line with relevant legislation, and responsible/ethical sourcing practices
Manage procurement risks, contracts, and supplier SLAs
Requirements:
Professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
4+ years’ proven experience in a similar position ideally in a similar industry
Demonstrated success in streamlining supplier services and delivering measurable cost
Solid understanding of supply chain processes and procurement best practices
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform buying decisions
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
