Job Description:

Be part of a leading specialist in ground improvement, delivering advanced geotechnical solutions for major projects across infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative techniques within a stable, global organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and roll out comprehensive procurement frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Establish and manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and contract negotiation to vendor performance management
  • Conduct strategic sourcing activities to achieve cost reductions and maximize value for money
  • Assess the need for formal contracts and establish contracts with major suppliers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, including monitoring performance and ensuring adherence to KPIs and sustainability targets
  • Foster relationships with other entities in the region to leverage co-sourcing opportunities
  • Lead Modern Slavery compliance activities, including framework and statement drafting
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior management on all procurement-related matters
  • Analyse and improve existing procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Review spend reporting and market engagement opportunities to drive cost reductions and increase value for money

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a procurement or supply chain role, ideally within infrastructure, energy, mining, or engineering sectors
  • Extensive experience working autonomously, demonstrating exceptional self-direction and initiative
  • High level of commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and a demonstrated ability to deliver commercial innovation and value
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on process creation, analysis, and improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work effectively across different cultures
