Germany is a strategic core market, with a strong and expanding onshore wind pipeline supported by the group’s international expertise, financial strength, and long-term commitment to the energy transition.
Job Responsibility:
Lead procurement activities for onshore wind projects in Germany, with responsibility for large and complex contract packages
Manage tender processes, supplier engagement, bid evaluation (commercial and technical), and prepare recommendations for senior management
Negotiate supply, EPC, construction, and service contracts with internal technical and legal support
Identify, assess, and manage procurement and project risks from tender phase through contract award
Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies tailored to the technical and commercial requirements of wind projects
Ensure alignment with group-wide procurement processes and contribute to their continuous improvement
Act as a key interface between the German business and the international strategic procurement team, providing local market insight
Support the Commercial team in the sale of onshore wind projects developed in Germany
Requirements:
Degree in engineering, business, economics, law, or a comparable discipline
Several years of procurement experience within onshore wind, ideally covering wind turbines and/or balance-of-plant scopes
Proven track record negotiating complex, high-value contracts in the renewable energy sector
Strong understanding of the German onshore wind market, suppliers, and contracting models
Structured, analytical, and self-driven working style with strong stakeholder management skills
Confident communicator in multidisciplinary and international environments
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP systems
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
