Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to support complex sourcing and contract negotiations for major workplace and data center build-out initiatives in San Francisco, California. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity for a procurement specialist who brings deep experience across furniture, general contracting, and architectural services and can help drive timely, cost-effective decisions on large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial judgment with hands-on bid management, vendor strategy, and negotiation expertise in fast-paced environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead sourcing and negotiation activities for large workplace and data center build-out projects exceeding 300,000 square feet
  • Manage commercial discussions and contract terms for furniture, general contractor, and architectural service engagements
  • Direct competitive bid processes by evaluating supplier proposals, comparing pricing structures, and recommending award decisions aligned with project goals
  • Partner with internal real estate, workplace, and project stakeholders to balance schedule demands, budget targets, and quality expectations
  • Build and maintain productive supplier relationships to improve service levels, reduce risk, and create value throughout the procurement cycle
  • Perform cost analysis and identify savings opportunities without compromising project timelines or delivery standards
  • Support procurement planning for construction-related categories including FF&E, tenant improvements, and other commercial real estate needs
  • Ensure contracts and vendor engagements are structured to support efficient execution across time-sensitive build programs

Requirements

  • 7+ years of procurement experience, including significant work in real estate, workplace, or construction-related categories
  • Proven success negotiating agreements for furniture, general contracting, and architectural services
  • Experience supporting large commercial build-outs of 300,000+ square feet
  • Strong ability to deliver cost savings while maintaining speed, quality, and stakeholder alignment
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and bid administration

Nice to have

  • Background in commercial real estate procurement within fast-growing or high-demand business environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and purchasing processes that support complex capital or workplace projects
