A leading investment and retail banking institution. They are seeking a strategic Indirect Procurement Manager to oversee non-production spend, focusing on driving value and mitigating risk.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the sourcing strategy for indirect categories including IT/Software, Professional Services, Marketing, and Facilities
Manage the end-to-end RFP/RFQ process, from vendor identification to final selection and onboarding
Develop and implement Vendor Risk Management (VRM) frameworks in alignment with strict financial regulations and ESG goals
Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to optimize departmental budgets and achieve annual cost-saving targets
Negotiate complex Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to minimize legal and financial exposure
Conduct regular quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers to ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
CIPS or CPSM certification is highly preferred
5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement, specifically within Financial Services, Insurance, or Fintech
Strong legal literacy with the ability to redline commercial contracts and understand liability clauses
Expertise in enterprise e-Procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle Cloud
Demonstrated data analytics skills to track spend leakage and identify consolidation opportunities
High level of integrity and experience working within a highly regulated corporate environment
