We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to assist our client on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in San Francisco and requires expertise in managing procurement processes for large-scale real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to negotiate contracts for furniture, general contracting, and architecture services while balancing cost savings, quality, and project timelines.
Job Responsibility:
Lead contract negotiations for real estate build-outs, focusing on Furniture, General Contracting, and Architecture agreements
Manage procurement processes for large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with budgetary and timeline constraints
Develop and implement vendor selection strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery time
Oversee bid management and evaluate proposals to identify the best options for construction and workplace projects
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with organizational goals and project requirements
Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards for quality and speed of execution
Monitor and manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
Provide strategic procurement support for tenant improvements and FF& E specifications
Conduct thorough cost analysis to support decision-making for real estate and workplace projects
Ensure procurement activities adhere to industry standards and company policies
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on real estate and workplace categories
Proven expertise in negotiating contracts for Furniture, General Contracting, and Architecture services
Demonstrated experience managing procurement for large-scale real estate projects exceeding 300,000 square feet
Strong ability to achieve cost savings while maintaining project quality and timelines
Exceptional vendor management and contract negotiation skills
Familiarity with commercial real estate procurement processes, particularly in high-growth tech environments
Experience in analyzing bids and conducting cost evaluations for construction and workplace initiatives
Nice to have:
Knowledge of FF& E specifications and tenant improvement projects is preferred
