As part of ongoing business growth, several companies are looking to appoint experienced Procurement Managers to lead strategic sourcing and procurement operations within their manufacturing plants.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and production requirements
  • Manage sourcing of direct materials, indirect materials, and operational services for manufacturing operations
  • Lead supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, and contract management
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives, supplier consolidation, and value engineering programs
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks to ensure continuity
  • Collaborate closely with production, planning, engineering, quality, and finance teams
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of procurement experience within manufacturing environments
  • Prior experience in one or more sectors such as electronics, metal/steel, or chemical manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
  • Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
