Job Description:

This role is responsible for all centralized LD&T (Logistics, Distribution & Transportation) and SG&A (Sales/ General and Administrations) procurement activities to provide services/products timely with efficient cost for Vietnam MU (Market Unit). This role is responsible for leading the sourcing activities, including spend analysis, sourcing, supply development, identifying productivity opportunities and performance monitoring, control and reporting for all LD&T and SG&A spend within Vietnam approx. U$13.1MM. The role is responsible for identifying and developing cross-functional teams to deliver TCO reduction strategies, as well as managing relationships with senior stakeholders, cross-functions (Agro, Marketing, HR, Commercial, Supply Chain…), Procurement COE as well as suppliers. This role will also actively engage with BU (Business Unit)/ Sector to leverage from global vendor harmonization, sourcing strategy and coordinate with related functions for effective planning, sourcing, and supplier performance management. This role is responsible for 2 categories and manage more than 200 suppliers with approximately 7-10% of annual operating productivity deliverables.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver Growth: Work closely with APAC Category Leads to define and implement sourcing strategy for LD&T and SG&A
  • Drive 7-10% of compressible spend year-on-year reductions in conversion, freight and value engineering (over USD$1.0M)
  • Monitor, perform supply risk assessment to identify alternative supply sources and implement BCP plan
  • Create Efficiency: Optimize service/product specifications through understanding the levers that drive cost in the supply chain
  • Coordinate and support cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction initiatives and execution
  • Effectively communicate and work with Procurement COE and relevant stakeholders
  • Leverage supplier and market insights, as well as networking with peers
  • Maximize the performance of suppliers
  • Manage compliance to the contract terms
  • Drive Future Success: Transform LD&T and SG&A category in Vietnam through strategy ownership, and supplier development
  • Proactively explore and apply best practices from other market

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in a Procurement Manager role for Logistics, SG&A (Sales/ General and Administrations) in FMCG (preferably) with manufacturing sites
  • Demonstrated technical procurement knowledge of LD&T and SG&A management
  • Sound sourcing experience for transportation, Warehouse and management of purchase transactions with overseas vendors
  • Strong Project Management and Negotiation Skills
  • Proven influencing skills to positively impact complex negotiations
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills in English
  • Good knowledge on Contractual term/ risk analysis/ liabilities and indemnities / SLA’s / and general commercial terms
  • Degree qualified
