Job Responsibility

  • Spearhead the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle and commodity management strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for both raw materials and indirect services to support overarching business objectives
  • Oversee key metal commodity portfolios, conducting detailed market analysis to mitigate supply chain risks and leverage commercial opportunities
  • Lead contract lifecycle management, including vendor identification, performance assessments, and the negotiation of favorable commercial agreements
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of procurement and cost-estimation professionals to achieve departmental targets and key performance indicators
  • Ensure all transactional activities and logistics processes strictly comply with corporate governance guidelines, internal frameworks, and regulatory policies

Requirements

  • Proven track record in end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing within the manufacturing or heavy industrial sector
  • Extensive experience in managing direct materials, with specialized exposure to metal commodities and raw material procurement
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated capabilities in complex contract negotiation and strategic supplier relationship management
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team of purchasing professionals
