Lead product localization, material cost ownership, and NPI sourcing readiness to perfectly align with production ramps and revenue plans
Manage the full cycle of strategic contract negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms, and long-term supply agreements
Perform market research and identify new potential vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality material sourcing across complex electronics, metals, plastics, mechanicals, and chemicals commodities
Oversee material flow, analyze supplier capacity, and manage BOM releases through ERP and Agile systems to maintain necessary inventory for manufacturing needs
Coordinate with quality assurance, planning, and engineering teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues, mitigate long-term supply chain risks, and conduct make-vs-buy analyses
Monitor global raw material market trends and manage global supplier relationships to provide insights on pricing, supply stability, and continuity
Act autonomously as an Individual Contributor to establish local procurement activities and build robust supply chain operations for a scaling greenfield/brownfield plant
Requirements
A degree or diploma in a relevant field of study
Extensive experience in purchasing or a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management systems and procurement tools
Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships
Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate documentation and audit records
