The EPC Procurement Manager will lead procurement for EPC/project delivery across ITM, ensuring strong commercial ownership, supplier governance and risk control. You will act as a senior procurement partner to Project Managers and leadership teams on complex projects. Driving consistency in subcontracting, commercial strategy and supplier engagement across all EPC activities. You will be accountable for all EPC and project procurement activities, leading commercial negotiations and managing the full procurement lifecycle to ensure strong risk control, robust contractual terms, and sustained cost competitiveness. Acting as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, you will also take a hands-on role in shaping sourcing strategies and driving process improvements within a rapidly evolving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end‑to‑end procurement strategy for EPC projects
Develop and execute package-specific strategies
Ensure full alignment of technical, commercial and legal requirements
Serve as the primary procurement interface for Project Management and Engineering teams
Define and manage payment milestones, liquidated damages frameworks, and contractual guarantees
Drive cost savings, risk mitigation and overall value optimisation
Create and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and project needs
Build strong supplier relationships and ensure rigorous contract management and compliance
Lead tender processes, contract negotiations and supplier performance management
Promote continuous improvement across procurement processes, systems, and reporting
Act as escalation point for major commercial and supplier issues
Support and guide EPC Procurement Managers across projects
Establish best practices for subcontractor management and supplier governance
Requirements:
CIPS qualification (or working towards) desirable
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business administration or economics
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong experience in EPC/project procurement
Extensive commercial and contractual expertise
Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and manage claims
Proven people leadership capabilities
Proficient in procurement systems, data analysis, and contract management
Proficient in written and spoken English and German language
Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-changing business and drive change where needed
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
