Randstad is partnering with a reputable and fast-growing player in the automotive manufacturing industry. Our client is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to lead their procurement team and take ownership of the full procurement cycle to support business operations and continuous growth.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management
Drive end-to-end procurement processes: from sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management to cost control and process improvement
Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project timelines, quality standards, and cost targets
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, finance, etc.) to align procurement strategies with business needs
Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and reliability
Monitor supplier performance and ensure continuous improvement initiatives are in place
Requirements:
Proven experience (8+ years) in procurement within the automotive or manufacturing sector
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Solid track record in vendor negotiations and cost-saving initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strategic mindset with hands-on experience in procurement systems and best practices
