Job Description:

The procurement Manager will act as the main commercial contact for suppliers of main commodities, involving all commercial aspects regarding contracts, purchase orders and deliveries to the project teams. It also includes delivery of competitive CAPEX and best commercial terms. The procurement manager will also identify risk mitigation strategies and to play an active role in addressing relevant issues with suppliers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the main commercial contact for suppliers of main commodities
  • Involve all commercial aspects regarding contracts, purchase orders and deliveries to the project teams
  • Delivery of competitive CAPEX and best commercial terms
  • Identify risk mitigation strategies and to play an active role in addressing relevant issues with suppliers
  • Optimization and support of tender projects, including market research, identification of savings, support of target cost projects, reduction of 'nice-to-have' options
  • Negotiate terms and conditions including CAPEX and delivery times with PV suppliers for project specifics
  • Coordination with project teams within the EPC BU and suppliers regarding project specific requirements
  • Coordination and active communication with Sinosure
  • Support DEV and EPC regarding PV Modules commercial terms, CAPEX, Warranty, Delivery Times, Payment Terms
  • Conducting market analyses and identifying concrete measures and further development approaches
  • Responsible for managing of tenders with internal and external stakeholders and other management activities involving suppliers
  • Conducting market research and analysis regarding supply chain, as well supporting the company with long term business plans according to Asset Co and IPP strategies (Project Bridge, Lumens)

Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Economics, Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of total of 5 years of working experience
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Know-how and experience of procurement methods and negotiation tactics
  • Practical experience with instruments and methods within procurement
  • Coordination and negotiation skills in coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Autonomy, negotiation skills, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and action
  • Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • English

Nice to have:

  • Initial experience in top management communication is an advantage
  • Certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics from accredited institutions, such as: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification
  • Six Sigma or Lean certifications (if relevant)
  • Any relevant Certifications are may be advantageous
  • Other languages such as (German, Spanish, Chinese) are preferred
