Job Description:

A leading name in the civil engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing and supply chain activities across multiple infrastructure projects in the south-east. Projects are typically £5m to £25m – highways, 278 works, bridges, hard landscaping, bulk earthworks.

Job Responsibility:

Manage end-to-end procurement for materials, plant, and subcontract services
Develop supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms
Support project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Drive efficiencies, ensure compliance, and manage procurement reporting

Requirements:

Proven background in procurement within civil engineering or construction
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Solid understanding of contracts, cost control, and project operations
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
CIPS qualification or similar preferred
