Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and excellence in every project we undertake. We are seeking a Procurement Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement for DPI’s projects in Norway/Scandinavia/Europe, ensuring critical-path materials, equipment, and services are sourced on time, to specification, and within budget. Own supplier strategy, contracts, risk management, expediting, and logistics, enabling flawless installation and commissioning aligned to project milestones.
Job Responsibility:
Build the Project Procurement Plan
Map critical path components
Establish source-to-contract timelines, bid calendar, and decision gates with Engineering & PMO
Perform market intelligence for Norway/Nordics: capacity, lead times, pricing trends, supplier financial health
Prepare RFx packages including specs, BoMs, drawings, standards, QA, warranty, and acceptance criteria
Run competitive tenders, evaluate technical and commercial responses, and lead cross-functional adjudication
Develop award recommendations and secure approvals in accordance with the DPI delegation of authority
Negotiate price, Incoterms, payment terms, LDs, warranties, spares, service support, and change mechanisms
Draft/execute purchase agreements, frame agreements, and subcontracts in coordination with Compliance
Align contracts with relevant standards (eg NS 8405/8407 or client-mandated forms where applicable) and project specifics
Set supplier KPIs
Run SRM reviews: issue performance reports and recovery plans for underperformance
Ensure supplier HSE, ethical compliance, and ESG standards are aligned with DPI policies
Uphold DPI policies, audit readiness and data integrity to ERP/P2P systems
Support QA/QC at incoming inspection and during installation

Partner with Engineering for BoM finalisation and alternates
Coordinate with Construction on site readiness and Just-In-Time delivery windows
Align with HSE on lifting plans, storage and hazardous materials handling
Work with Finance on accruals, capex/opex classification and payment approvals
Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company and group policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
Master’s preferred
7+ years of European or Scandinavian/ procurement experience in data centre, MEP/critical infrastructure, industrial construction, or high-tech projects
Proven record of managing long-lead equipment, structure cabling, and white space materials
Strong contracting skills, with familiarity with Nordic standards an advantage
Experience with international logistics, Incoterms, and customs in Norway
