Job Description

We’re looking for a Procurement Lead to manage the full procurement and asset lifecycle for IT hardware, software, and digital workplace technologies. In this role, you’ll lead vendor strategy, asset standards, and purchasing operations while supporting a smooth onboarding experience for employees. You’ll work closely with IT, Finance, HR, and business teams to forecast demand, manage costs, and ensure reliable delivery of technology assets.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead procurement for laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, and related IT equipment
  • Act as the main contact for hardware and software vendors including contracts, pricing, negotiations, SLAs, and performance reviews
  • Manage software purchasing, distribution, and licensing compliance
  • Build cost‑efficient sourcing strategies including vendor consolidation and standardization
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records within asset management systems
  • Oversee inventory, lifecycle processes, and audit readiness
  • Forecast hardware needs using hiring plans, refresh cycles, and technology roadmaps
  • Support device refreshes, upgrades, and enterprise‑wide acquisitions
  • Partner with Onboarding teams to make sure new hires receive equipment on time
  • Work with Offboarding teams to ensure timely retrieval of assets
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex onboarding or desktop issues
  • Work with Service Desk and Tier 2/3 teams on issues related to Windows, Office 365, VPN, connectivity, printers, and peripherals
  • Own and maintain desktop standards, images, and configurations that meet security and IT policy requirements
  • Create SOPs to ensure vendors and teams follow consistent processes
  • Deliver reports, scorecards, and leadership‑level metrics
  • Review new technology trends and recommend updates that improve cost, performance, and reliability

Requirements

  • 8+ years in IT hardware and software asset management
  • 3+ years in Identity and Access Management, Digital Workplace, End‑User Computing, or IT Operations
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD): provisioning, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot: device enrollment and compliance
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 licensing and identity integration
  • Strong experience with ITSM platforms, preferably ServiceNow
  • Strong incident management and root‑cause analysis background
  • Experience creating runbooks, documentation, and operational playbooks
  • Ability to manage KPIs, SLAs, and onboarding dashboards
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to work across teams
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Strong negotiation, procurement planning, and vendor management skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, proactive, and able to lead initiatives end‑to‑end
