Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen to join a newly carved out European business backed, entering a critical phase of standalone transformation. Following a recent transaction, the organisation is transitioning away from a group structure and building its own procurement capability for the first time. Procurement activity is currently supported by an external consultancy, with a clear mandate to bring this in house and deliver both stability and value creation. This is a high pace transforming environment and would suit someone ambitious, delivery led and comfortable operating close to senior stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establishing BAU procurement while supporting a wider transformation programme focused on cost optimisation, supplier renewal and separation from the former parent entity
  • Shaping the procurement function and supporting further recruitment to build a team
  • BAU procurement including renewals and stakeholder engagement
  • Embedding procurement governance in a newly independent entity
  • Driving cost reduction and transformation initiatives
  • Supporting separation from legacy group arrangements
  • Working closely with the leadership team to drive and enact change
