An opportunity has arisen to join a newly carved out European business backed, entering a critical phase of standalone transformation. Following a recent transaction, the organisation is transitioning away from a group structure and building its own procurement capability for the first time. Procurement activity is currently supported by an external consultancy, with a clear mandate to bring this in house and deliver both stability and value creation. Job Responsibility:
Establishing BAU procurement while supporting a wider transformation programme focused on cost optimisation, supplier renewal and separation from the former parent entity
Shaping the procurement function and supporting further recruitment to build a team
BAU procurement including renewals and stakeholder engagement
Embedding procurement governance in a newly independent entity
Driving cost reduction and transformation initiatives
Supporting separation from legacy group arrangements
Working closely with the leadership team to drive and enact change
Requirements:
Ambitious procurement professionals with strong leadership characteristics
Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable engaging with private equity and senior finance leadership
Experience across both transformation and operational procurement
Pragmatic, communicative and delivery focused
