Job Title- Procurement Jr. Professional Job Location- Bhubaneswar Odisha Working Day- 6 Slary upto - 9 LPA Experience Minimum 3 Years in handling high value contracts for different services such as Mining, Geology, Project, Plant & Machinery, Operation & Maintenance, Civil Works, Manpower, IT Services etc. Experience & knowledge in SAP MM Module/ e-procurement/ GeM Portal/ Procurement in Govt. sector/ PSU (Other keywords: Materials management, Logistics Management, Inventory management, Warehouse management, Procurement, Cost optimization, Vendor Management )

Job Responsibility:

  • Materials Management: Plan and manage the flow of materials from suppliers to production and dispatch
  • Monitor material requirements to avoid shortages or excess
  • Logistics Management: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations
  • Coordinate with transport partners to ensure timely delivery and dispatch
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with demand forecasts and budget targets
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize obsolescence and pilferage
  • Warehouse Management: Supervise warehouse operations, layout optimization, and space utilization
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in warehousing
  • Procurement: Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze supply chain expenses and identify areas for cost reduction
  • Implement best practices to improve efficiency across processes
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare periodic reports on inventory, procurement, and logistics metrics
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 Years in handling high value contracts for different services such as Mining, Geology, Project, Plant & Machinery, Operation & Maintenance, Civil Works, Manpower, IT Services etc.
  • Experience & knowledge in SAP MM Module/ e-procurement/ GeM Portal/ Procurement in Govt. sector/ PSU
  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in materials and logistics management
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software preferred
