This Intern will be responsible for assisting a team of procurement professionals in providing the best value parts and service for our Military Aircraft Systems and Power and Propulsion System Product Lines. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order creation and maintenance, and supplier management. The intern will train and mentor with experienced Supply Chain Planners and Buyers to understand and execute MRP recommendations in a Lean 6 Sigma continuous improvement environment. Expected hours for this role is 10 to 15 hours per week during academic sessions, and mutually agreed increase up to 40 hours for the summer months. In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related major
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
Self motivated with strong work ethic
10 to 15 hours per week when school is in session, extended hours over the summer
Nice to have:
Third or fourth year undergraduate student
Good academic standing
Long term interest in Supply Chain Management
