Job Description

Liaise, track and expedite goods and materials such vendor equipment, consumables, tooling deliveries to site.

Job Responsibility

  • Expedite vendor data from vendors
  • Expedite vendor progress throughout fabrication
  • Expedite delivery of goods
  • Support Project Engineers in all expediting matters
  • Assist with Final release inspections
  • Liaise with freight providers and site logistics team in relation shipping matters
  • Manage/update master shipping register
  • Support deliveries of oversized/overlength goods to site
  • Reporting of deliveries

Requirements

  • General knowledge of equipment, tools, consumables typically used in construction of process plant
  • Understanding of shipping transport envelops and overlength/oversize requirements
  • Ability to liaise with freight forwarders for pricing, delivery updates and any issues
  • Forecast any shipping and delivery risks and advise/mitigate accordingly
  • Excel/Word - Training on materials tracking software to be provided by Primero
  • Good communication skills
