Job Description

We are looking for a fast learner and hands-on Procurement Excellence Specialist to join Adyen's Procurement Excellence team, a dynamic global team within our Finance function. The goal of the team is to contribute to Adyen's 10x ambition through risk mitigation and contract and vendor management, ultimately empowering stakeholders to deliver their strategies. As a Procurement Excellence Specialist, you will have a broad and diverse range of tasks, including contract management and third party risk management. You base your decisions mainly on data and you communicate advice in a clear and distinct manner to various internal departments. It is important that you have good analytical skills and can be detail-oriented. The scope of this role is as broad as our vendor base, meaning that you will manage vendor onboardings, vendor monitorings and offboardings from a global perspective and within all domains of the company.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage new vendor requests and assess them on data completeness and accuracy before approving
  • Lead in the vendor onboarding process, including follow up to vendors and internal teams
  • Risk management specialist with a broad knowledge on Adyen's third party risk framework and assess third party information
  • Vendor monitoring on contractual agreements, making sure internal teams are managing their vendor contracts on time and within the risk appetite of Adyen

Requirements

  • 1 or 2+ years of experience in an operational (risk management) role
  • Well-organized and like to solve problems with a pragmatic approach
  • Data driven with an analytical mindset
  • A natural networker, great in stakeholder management
  • Proficient in English
  • fluency in another language is an added advantage
  • Global mindset, and are able to work across time zones and cultures
