We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to join one the leading airport services provider worldwide . In this role, you won't just process orders, you will review technical specifications to identify improvements, lead the RFP process, and collaborate with the legal team to secure robust contracts. Job Responsibility:
Provides information regarding different market segments
Determines appropriate suppliers for different product groups/services
Previews the specifications of assigned projects and identifies areas for improvement
Conducts market research for new suppliers/contractors, products, and services
Prepares Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents
Handles the tender process in compliance with the Procurement Procedure, collaborating with the internal customers and the suppliers/contractors for the successful outcome of the supply process
Performs commercial evaluation, negotiates with suppliers/contractors, and reports the tender results, recommending the best solution for the company
Issues the purchase orders in the SAP MM system, depicting all agreed terms and conditions
Cooperates with the legal team and the vendor for the finalization of the contracts based on the agreed prices and technical terms
Reports, archives, and tracks the tender and purchasing documents
Follows up on contracts in SAP regarding their execution based on the agreed prices and commercial terms
Requirements:
5 years of experience in the technical procurement field
