Are you a detail-oriented professional with ERP experience looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? We are seeking a temporary Procurement Administrator to support our clients Procurement Department. This role is located in Cambridge and the successfully employee will be working fully onsite. This role starts at 6 hours per day with the potential to scale up to full-time hours (8 hours/day) as additional duties are integrated. For the right candidate, this position also offers a unique pathway to a potential permanent, full-time role.
Job Responsibility
Monitor the production schedule to create and manage daily inventory releases and purchase order in the ERP system for external warehouses (raw materials and dry goods)
Analyze demand forecasts to create timely purchase orders, ensuring an uninterrupted product supply for plant needs
Run Material Resource Planning (MRP) reports within the ERP system to send purchase orders for packaging and ingredients
Additional duties may include assisting with broader procurement tasks, including material buying
Requirements
Prior experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain environment is considered a strong asset
High level of accuracy when managing numbers, forecasts, and purchase orders
Previous experience and comfort working within an ERP system
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external warehouses
