Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Coordinator to join the Personal Care Business Unit in Mexico. This role will support the development and execution of procurement strategies, supplier management activities, savings initiatives, and innovation projects across key material portfolios. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to ensure material availability, optimize cost, and maintain high service and quality standards aligned with the Business Unit’s objectives. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, eager to learn, and passionate about contributing to the local Personal Care agenda.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the development and implementation of material strategies aligned with business priorities and procurement goals
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers to ensure the best value, quality, and service for the organization
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks related to quality, cost, or service
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and timely issue resolution
  • Support negotiations and cost‑reduction initiatives under the guidance of the Procurement Manager
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation related to contracts, supply plans, and supplier scorecards
  • Act as a liaison between the procurement community and the Personal Care Business Unit to align on needs, timelines, innovation launches, and risks
  • Provide timely updates on material costs, market trends, and procurement activities to key stakeholders
  • Support cross‑functional projects involving R&D, Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Assist in tracking savings initiatives and ensuring accurate reporting in relevant systems
  • Conduct basic market research to understand pricing dynamics, industry trends, and potential risks
  • Support the preparation of material price forecasts and dashboards used for decision‑making
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, responsible sourcing requirements, and internal controls
  • Keep accurate and organized records of procurement activities and portfolio data
  • Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
