Join us as Procurement Coordinator for Personal Care. The key contribution of Procurement Markets is the Business Unit Integration. You are the voice of Procurement to the partnering functions, ensuring procurement representation in the strategic division agenda and the voice of the division within Procurement, translating business needs into procurement strategy. You are a strategy guru: You have a clear understanding of the Business Unit’s strategy. You can translate this business and technical roadmap, into the material and supplier strategy required in Procurement. You are a dot connector: You can see the big picture within the end-to-end value chain and drive value creation for the Business Unit. You can see where programs and activities overlap and where teams need to be connected between Procurement and Business Units. You are a storyteller: You use your strategic influencing skills to drive Procurement considerations and recommendations within the Business Unit, based on outside market intelligence. For example, you regularly report macro and micro economic trends, material inflation and currency impacts in key markets, thus enabling the Business Unit to take mitigating actions, as per Procurement recommendations. You are a born leader: You are the leader of the Partnering program. It is your role to connect supplier partners and disruptors to Business Unit leadership, to facilitate supplier led innovation growth and cost saving initiatives. You are a teacher: You work collaboratively with your peers, by sharing and taking best practice for the benefit of your Business Unit and the overall Procurement community. You ensure your cross functional partners are clear on the Procurement ways of working.

Job Responsibility:

  • Being the representative of procurement to the category stakeholders of the business and the BU participants
  • Manage a business unit procurement team to build a pipeline and execute the savings programs, in collaboration with portfolio buyers to achieve the targets expectations set in the P&L
  • Support the business in all procurement activities related to innovations and growth initiatives
  • Ensure that procurement is giving the right level of support and responsiveness on issues related to quality and services from the suppliers of the categories
  • Execute procurement strategy for the innovations and specialty material supply
  • Support the forecast of savings, inflation and net impact in the P&L
  • Interface with suppliers and the market on behalf of Unilever

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s degree from an accredited university
  • Advanced knowledge in English language with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Procurement background
  • Excellent Power Point and Excel skills
  • High level of business financial´s understanding
  • Data accuracy and analytical skills
  • High level of interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Good stakeholder management

Nice to have:

  • Desirable knowledge in Portfolio and markets
  • Advanced Spanish is desirable
