We are looking for a dedicated and organized Procurement Clerk to join our team in Gardena, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of procurement activities, including managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and supporting staff with their ordering needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing
Verify incoming deliveries and reconcile them against purchase orders
Conduct quality checks to confirm the accuracy of received goods
Organize and manage the receipt of boxes and larger items to maintain orderliness in storage areas
Address inquiries from clinical staff regarding order status and delivery coordination
Provide administrative support for procurement operations, including documentation and record-keeping
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to address discrepancies and resolve issues
Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate procurement or purchasing roles
Proficiency in managing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
Strong understanding of procurement functions and buying processes
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills for liaising with staff and vendors
Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with procurement systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to have:
