Procurement Buyer Specialist will be responsible for managing commodities/categories on a global basis, including goods and services that support the company and its customers. The primary objective of this role is to provide best-in-class Global Procurement customer experience to our clients while maximizing the value of their budget returns. Buying the right things, at the right price, in the right quantity, to achieve the right results.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the analysis of specific commodity data and industry trends or lead an individual supply chain sub-category
Participate as a member of a cross-functional team (may lead specific projects)
Meet with stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans
Participate in supplier selection activities
Negotiate with suppliers
Engage with low-complexity suppliers to negotiate commercials and acceptable contracting outcomes using pre-packed solutions
Negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions
Execute risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies
Advise program level business representatives on fundamental contract risk areas
Monitor supplier performance
Requirements:
First level university degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain function
Understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers
Basic analytical skills
Knowledge of business application tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities
Basic Project Management skills
Basic ability to develop suppliers
Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills

Mastery in English and local language
Ability to create a contract using standard company contract templates with supervision
