Implementation of new carriers: Coordinate with carriers and internal stakeholders on operational processes, align service level agreements, and report status in a shared implementation file
SOP Drafting: Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with the support of carriers and local operational stakeholders
Support in Carrier Creation: Assist in the creation of new carriers led by Procurement and pre-RFQ implementation
Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to support business case creation and problem-solving
Requirements:
Practical and/or educational familiarity with containerized ocean shipping operations, focusing on export operations, including marine terminal operations, steamship liner operations, drayage operations, and intermodal rail operations
Basic understanding of heavy-air and parcel operations
Knowledge of volumetric weight theory and calculations
Awareness of Incoterms and finished goods distribution methodologies
Experience with project management methodologies
Prior experience in a regulated industry, preferably in a Medical Device/Pharmaceutical setting
Strong coordination and organizational skills to track implementation progress
Resilience in navigating complex organizations with fragmented information
High degree of stakeholder focus and emotional intelligence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with quality work
Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to solve complex problems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Macro creation, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint)
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a concentration in Global Transportation Operations and/or Supply Chain
