Our automotive partner is looking for their future colleague for the Procurement and Governance Specialist position.
Job Responsibility
Ensure all purchasing activities and supplier-related processes fully comply with internal governance, global and local policies, and audit requirements
Maintain and continuously improve process documentation and work instructions to guarantee clarity, transparency, and process integrity
Prepare tenders, evaluate offers, and provide fact-based analyses to support informed and transparent decision-making
Build and maintain professional, trust-based relationships with suppliers and act as a reliable, independent interface between suppliers and internal departments, while ensuring consistent adherence to compliance and procurement standards
Conduct market research and compile supplier performance data to support fair evaluations and informed sourcing decisions
Drive continuous improvement of companywide processes and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with global policies and local requirements
Identify process gaps and enable structured, data-driven improvements that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and organizational transparency
Execution of controls in order to fulfill requirements of identified process gaps
Reconcile the marketing budget in close cooperation with the Marketing and Controlling department, ensuring accuracy and transparent financial oversight
Maintain and coordinate the Sponsorship / Donation database, ensuring full compliance with internal and corporate governance standards
Execute regular compliance controls (e.g., Expenditure Compliance Controls) with high diligence and transparency
Act as CAS responsible for all new suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to compliance and due diligence requirements
Requirements
University or college degree, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience
Strong digital mindset with confidence in modern systems, automation tools, and data-driven workflows
Excellent communication skills in English and native Hungarian
Highly independent, trustworthy, and committed to governance and compliance
Structured, organized, detail-oriented working style with a focus on transparency
Proactive, self-driven personality with strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
