Randstad has partnered with a high-profile government department to recruit a Procurement and Contracts Manager – Infrastructure. Based in Perth, this role is pivotal to delivering facilities management (FM) and public works projects. You will manage end-to-end procurement and contract administration within a fast-paced environment, ensuring strict compliance with government procurement rules, legislative acts, and organizational policies.
Job Responsibility
Manage end-to-end procurement and contract administration
Manage works procurement for repairs, maintenance, minor works, and capital projects
Provide expert guidance on medium-value/medium-risk maintenance and capital procurements
Prepare comprehensive procurement plans, business cases, and tender documents
Conduct detailed risk assessments
Oversee tender advertising, issue addenda, and manage evaluation process
Develop contract management plans and oversee contract variations
Collaborate with FM and project teams to compile complex expenditure forecast models
Contribute to enhancement of procurement frameworks and organizational processes
Requirements
Full working rights in Australia
Proven Government Procurement experience within infrastructure or public works
Significant experience in dedicated procurement roles within complex organizations
High-level interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
Strong conceptual, investigative, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional written skills for drafting contract documentation
Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Specific experience in works procurement
Nice to have
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
